Ok, so it’s a bit navel-gazing to talk about our new identity but it’s been a long process to get here (and we’re very proud) so please bear with me for a paragraph or two.
Our rebrand has been a long time in the making, with the project being shelved so many times while we have had to get on with the day job of looking after our client’s brands and websites. And for that we are very grateful, because since the business began in 2011, last year was the best yet. We’ve been working on more exciting projects with bigger clients, the team is growing (read more about the new team members here) and it felt like we had grown up a little.
Our new identity hopefully reflects this new maturity. We went through the usual, rigorous strategic planning process that we undertake for our clients and we think, as a result, we’ve captured the essence of Workshop perfectly. We reached the proposition of ‘We create conversations’ which went on to become our new strapline.
For us, what we do is all about conversation – from an in-depth chat the first time we meet a new client, to developing a campaign and getting it out there and talked about to focused lead generation work where our creative is opening the lines of communication. It also doesn’t tie us to any marketing discipline – we’re completely channel agnostic and our new brand needed to reflect that.
