We were tasked to undertake a comprehensive audit of Sinclair’s European marketing teams to better understand the risks posed by GDPR.
With individual business divisions operating across Europe, we carried out research to understand processes and systems used whilst undertaking marketing activities, followed by site visits to four key European divisions to conduct in depth interviews with each local marketing team.
Working with the Compliance and Legal Departments, we created a scenario based checklist, supported by a series of bespoke how-to guides to allow the teams to be GDPR compliant when performing marketing tasks.
