Strategic brand planning exercise, including extensive customer research to enable one of the UK’s largest commercial and industrial fencing manufacturers to rebrand and consolidate from multiple divisions to a single cohesive identity.

Barkers Engineering is one of the largest commercial and industrial fence manufacturers in the UK, with a dedicated manufacturing facility including on-site galvanising and powder coating capabilities.

Over the last decade, the various services that make up the business had developed their own identities, including websites and brands to try and attract a broader audience. This was causing confusion in the marketplace and creating internal divisions.

Barkers needed a B2B branding agency to bring everything back together in one cohesive brand and roll that out into a new website. Desk research to understand the market alongside customer surveys gave us a great picture of the current brand position of the company.

With a stack of insight courtesy of the research, we ran a brand planning session with key stakeholders to develop a new proposition for Barkers. From there a new brand, assets and website followed.

We knew we needed a specialist B2B branding agency to deliver this project and we were really pleased with the end result and impressed with the detailed process that Workshop took us through to get there. Great job guys, thanks! Jess Hand, Marketing Manager
