Ned and Fred is a division of Corilla Group, a plastics manufacturer specialising in rotational moulding. Their portfolio of pretty heavy duty stuff – products include tubs and containers for hauling mortar on building sites, and massive navigation and mooring buoys for marine customers. Oh, and a selection of clever products designed for dogs and horses!
Having only sold the horse and dog products on a wholesale trade basis, Corilla identified an opportunity to sell direct to consumer. We created a new brand, built an ecommerce site and then set to work getting their social ducks in a row with a kick-off campaign to drive traffic and bring sales.
A three-month activation plan was developed including a series of short videos about their products, shot at a nearby dog playground and a local livery yard.
We produced social cards to work across their chosen channels and ran a series of competitions to increase follower numbers. Outreach to pet influencers helped build advocates for the brand and lead to a significant jump in followers, engagement and sales to get the brand up and running.
