What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Deadpool! Superheroes, sharp witty, ridiculous violence and absurd off-screen Twitter spats between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. What’s not to love?

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

My daughter's school summer fete. Year 5 performed a medley and had a lot of fun. I may be biased but it was very good 😊

What winds you up?

People who chew food with their mouth open.

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Spy – it's got everything, action, comedy, beautiful locations, and Jason Statham playing Jason Statham!

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

My daughter was part of the Young Voices Choir at the AO Arena in Manchester earlier this year. 5000 children singing with Heather Small might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it was spectacular!

What winds you up?

I would like to think that I’m pretty laid back, but people in shops who seemed surprised after queuing that they actually need to pay, or people who block the pavement when there is a stream of pedestrians behind them.

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Little Miss Sunshine, a full family goes on a road trip to the beauty pageant. What can go wrong? Sharp & funny!

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

Eurovision in Liverpool! It was great, I was amazed at how synchronised the show was!

What winds you up?

Rain and cold weather in Summer! 13 years living in the UK and I still can't get used to the fact that summer lasts 2 weeks.

A weak brew.

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Rain man – excellent performances from Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffmann, I’d forgotten how funny it is!

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

Coldplay and yes! They were fantastic with a great “green” message.

What winds you up?

Bad manners / rude people, it costs nothing to be nice – or at least courteous.

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Birdman. 1 million percent.

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

Elton John at the AO Arena; absolutely fantastic and proof that when you’ve got it, you’ve got it for life!

What winds you up?

I’m usually quite laid-back, but not getting enough sleep is something that really annoys me – especially if there’s a party in a nearby flat.

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

The Battle of Algiers, Gillo Pontecorvo’s war film about the Algerian war of independence. Honourable mention also to La Haine.

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, an Aussie indie rock band. It was quite a while ago now, but they were decent from what I remember.

What winds you up?

People on public transport who sit on the aisle seat when the window seat is free, or who leave their bag on empty seats and have to be asked to move them. I would make this an imprisonable offence

What film do you recommend to anyone you can?

Dune, even though it’s almost 3 hours long it’s so worth it!

What was the last live music act you went to? Was it good?

Lewis Capaldi. Yes! He’s so good live and he’s absolutely hilarious.

What winds you up?

People talking with food in their mouth, just wait 5 seconds!
